The electronic ignition starting clicking

Did you spill any liquids onto the stove top? If you did you might have got liquid into the electrode housing or into the electric switches built into the burner control knob causing a short. Once the liquid dries up the problem should stop(it might take a day or two). You should unplug the elecricity to stop the constant clicking and avoid damage to your range ignition system. If you are cooking Thanksgiving dinner today at your house and would look to speed up the drying process so you can use your range then you can use a hair dryer to help speed it along. Take off the burner knobs and point the hair dryer into each stem and also at the burner electrodes at the burner heads to dry them out.
