On Krups EA8260 put in new pump and new piston with seals but flow of coffee is slow, not full volume and the water tends to boil. What is causing the restriction in water flow? Flowmeter?

try water pump by its self see if it work properly and make sure it is the same see if it 19 or 15 bars it may also need some halpe if it had been on the shelf for long time

Machine keeps blowing power circuit

I'm going to assume that your talking about the switch in your breaker/fuse box and not the power switch on the machine it self. Check the line that your machine is on to make sure there isn't too many things plugged up and being used at the same time on that same line causing it to overload the breaker. Many times, it is other things that are also on that line in your kitchen like the microwave, toaster, etc. that causes it to flip the breaker switch. If you are using two or more things at the same time on the same line with high amps on each unit, it will sometimes cause the breaker to flip off. Try limiting using just one thing at a time to see if that solves your problem. If it is the power switch it self on your machine, then there may be something wrong with your unit and may be defective.

I need to clean my capresso c1000. i can't find the instructions. i put a cleaning tablet into the ground coffee area, and ran the ground coffee button a few times. is that it?

No, first push the self clean button (hold until lights come on). Then pull the grounds unit and empty it, that will turn off one red light. Fill the water tank. Then drop the tablet. Then hit the ground coffee button. Cycle through and dump the grounds each time the grounds light illuminates.

Does not heat up or do anything when turned on

Inside is a heating element, most likely burnt out. Because that type of machine is self contained unit it is time to throw it out, mr coffee machines are dime a dozen these days. Can pick up another at wall mart for about 30 bucks. Not worth even attempting to fix or take apart a self contained factory machine . Sorry there is no good news, simple fix on that type of machine, unless you have warranty on it.

I have water draining back into the reservoir. It has been descaled and the needle openings have been cleaned.

what you will have to do to solve this problem is that you will have to do self cleaning on the coffee maker

however, (not the bathroom one) is a handy item to use to clean coffee residue off the inside of a glass coffee carafe.
  • Does your pot have hard to reach areas? Use a wooden chopstick with a paper towel to get in there.
  • You can put ice cubes and a little water(enough so you can swirl it around) in pot and swirl them around, for harder stains put some table salt in pot and swirl it around for a few minutes and then rinse.
  • Put a glass marble in the water chamber to attract mineral deposits from hard water. Wash it once a week.
  • For tough stains, scrub the pot using a paper towel or clean (not soapy) dish towel. Rinse thoroughly.
  • To clean just the pot, do what many restaurants do. Put about two cups of ice, 1/4 cup of rock or table salt, and 1/4 cup of lemon juice (bottled or fresh is fine) and swirl around the pot. Measurements are not that important, just guesstimate. Be sure that the pot is cold before you try this, or you may break the glass pot.
  • Clean a brand new coffee pot prior to using it for the first time.
  • Never use the coffee pot to pour water into the reservoir. This will transfer oils and impurities from the pot, and eventually give the coffee a nasty taste. Instead, use a pitcher that is reserved for water only.
  • To keep the inside area around basket, filter, lid area clean (from coffee ground spatter) simply place a SECOND filter over the top of the grounds in the FIRST filter. Push second filter down so that spout will clear top of second filter (on many makes of coffee makers) as lid is closed. This keeps interior in pristine condition and doesn't take much time or expense.

Problem with machine

Open the door and put in the dregsbox and driptray to the machine, look at the chassis in the middle above the pin there are a hole, then look at the upper right corner and you will see another hole.
Turn on the machine and put a screwdriver in the middle hole and then another in the upper right corner.

Now will the machine do the self test, when it finish the self test then you can remove the screwdriver and put in the brewing unit and close the dorr.

Hope this will help you.

Best regards
