No,the tv convergence board the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors are dead.Tv convergence board must be replace the 2 STK convergence ICS and also must test all of the resistors and replaces all those dead resistors too.
The convergence correction circuit is not working properly. This is a convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually charge between $200-$400
most times the ICs will be sufficient, but on certain models one or two of the convergence resistors will be burned and often dont show any outward appearance. They are located right next to the ICs about 10 of them all identical and you need to unsolder one side of the resistor and lift the one side out of circuit then check it for resisitance with an ohms meter if it doesnt register it will need to be replaced.
you need new Convergence ICs which is a fairly simple repair. Post your model number and I will post the STK numbers of the ICs you need as well as a link where you can get replacements that come with free installation instructions with pictures so you can do the repair yourself.
Your message says you "replaced stk392-150", did you replace both of the stk`s or just one of them??? One is for RGB vertical the other is for RGB horizontal, you should always replace both stk`s as a set, Hitachi recommends you use a "replacement kit"
part number X480306", this kit includes both stk`s with a new & supposedly improved set of stk`s as well as all resistors that are required for proper set-up, they strongly recommend you change all of the parts in their kit. The only other thing besides IC`s & resistors that could cause your problem is:
1) bad dcu output (you need a scope to check this)
2) you`ve lost either the +15 volt line or the -15 volt line to the IC`s, "Fxxx" chemical fuse open in power supply.
if you can remove the rear panel assy. look for the convergence ic's they start with stk--- and you got the part number you need a source panasonic is 814 source and the number on the ic's stk 390 ----/
