I just bought a 57 inch sony projection TV about 2 months ago. The Picture
was great initially but now it is almost green. i have done adjustments but
no avail. The white background is green. Does anyone have an idea what i can
do to get rid of the green saturation.

It's on warranty (I assume) so call a service tech and schedule a visit.
Something is clearly out of whack.

If you just bought it 2 months ago, it should be under warranty. I would
try the warranty bit myself, it might save you a few hundred. As far as
calibrating a rear projection set yourself, forget it unless you have the
proper equipment and lots of experience.

There isn't anything you can do to fix it. It is a common problem with a
certain set of Sony TV's. Any consolation you aren't the only one with this
problem. The problems can include flickering in dark scenes, changes in hue
especially green. Depending on where you bought it and if there is any
extended warranty I would try there 1st. I bought mine at Circuit City and
was able to get them to exchange it for a new one even though I had had it
for 4 months. If you can't get it exchanged then go through the warranty
repair process. Definately contact SONY At Your Service customer support. Go
to some of the Sony Forums on the net and you will find a lot more info.
Hope this helps.... Mike... Here's some links...
