Generally, this type of amp is relatively simple to repair if you're capable of replacing the blown parts. If you can find the web site for Nitro, you may be able to get a schematic. I couldn't find their site.

What troubleshooting have you done?

What parts are blown?

If you need help troubleshooting, I'd need a photo of the inside of the amplifier.

My Nitro BMW-486 Car Audio Amplifier has melted the fuse and fuse casing. Have attached an external fuse case. It also melted that. Is ther a way for me to fix this?

Is this an external fuse casing? If it is an external fuse casing then you can easily replace this with a new one and make sure that you install the same ampere rating on your fuse

My nitro bmw-486 amp plays but want put out loud sound

I have the same exact amp. And my friend has the smaller 1600 watt amp, and this happened to his. Basically, just start from scratch. Unhook every single wire, and rewire it. If that doesn't work, look at the side of it, and there are a few knobs that you can adjust using a philips head screwdriver. Try adjusting the bass boost knob.

Amp only runs on 1 channel til it is bridged tried 2 sets of rcas and still the same problem

Either the source isn't moving signal through stereo/both plugs, or the amp is damaged and will need repaired by an amplifier technician.

The fuse from the amp to the battery keeps burning

maybe it cannot accomodate too much power running on it...too much current, try another fuse with higher ampere rates

Blown channel

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Might be time to rep .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. blown-channel-zb4bomd1rt4qms0dqd12kkt2-3-0.jpg
