Cannot send or receive picture messages with the VX 8500 Chocolate also the phone drops calls constantly. when i send a message i receive a message back stating that it was sent in another code or text.

i had the same problem and have the same phone which has been flashed 2 ckicket. but i can get picture messages. on your phone go to messaging and then 8 to get to the internet browser. then when the error message pops up hit 282 and it will restart the browser to allow u to get to the internet.

Flashing phones may limit the capabilities of the phone, since it is often "hardwired" to a certain network. I would take the phone to cricket and see what they say

Your phone's Flex cable or speaker is bad. I would bet on the flex cable being the culprit. LG VX 8500/Chocolate has a BAD rep for it's flex cable being inferior. Very common problem for the VX 8500....they fixed that really fast with its replacement, the VX 8550.

i bought the LG KG00 and all you have to do is call T-Mobile, make SURE YOU ASK FOR SOMEONE IN TIER 2!!!

anyway, once you do that you let them know, and they will set up your picture messaging for you :)

Are you the account holder? It's possible whoever set up the account blocked picture messages from being sent. If you log in to your account, you can change these features, or if you aren't the account holder, talk to that person. Picture messages cost more than regular text messages.

easier by bluetooth than cable.
if your comp is not bluetooth capable you can get a BT dongle from most electronics stores this will enable your comp. and then you pair your phone whit the comp and just drag and drop

if you have your mp3 files at your n70 memory card, try to use memory card reader and copy your mp3 files to the memory card of your vx8500.
