I keep puting the dvd it just keep loading over and over it wont play my movie or cd at all

You need to remove the case from the dvd player and try cleaning the laser with a cotton bud or cue tip to get any grease or grime off the eye of the laser. If that doesnt solve the issue, you may need to source a spare parts provider and replave the laser assembly. If all else fails the only thing left that can cause a problem is called the MPEG Printed Circuit Board and you can normally find that attatched to the Laser loader assembly by a flat ribbon cable or small wire plugs. Try putting an audio CD in, if it works fine thats a very good indicator that the laser is going/is bad. A audio CD has much less data to read so it's able to keep up, but not with the DVD.

My emerson ewr20v4 plays cds with music but not dvd with movies. It keeps displaying disk error

check and see if the dvd player needs to be cleaned. you can pick up contaminates from other dvd's or cd's get yourself a dvd disk cleaner and run it thru seveveral times . and try to play your money then.

DVD player wont read disc.....

Hello,

how long have you been using this player? The problem should be from the lens (laser).

The lens is weak and that's why it cannot read/load all Cd's/movies.The weak lens is what is making the player select discs, that is, not playing all discs.

Get a lens cleaner and use it to clean the lens, but if the lens still does the same thing even after using the lens cleaner, then it means you would have to change the whole lens completely to a brand new one.

By so doing your player would play all Cd's/movies with no problem at all.

When you burn the videos to a cd or dvd disc make sure it is in one of these formats: Video CD (VCD), DVD, SVCD because thats what video formats that HU plays

Movie don't play even after cleaning dvd player

That should not damage the head. I use those cleaning cd's also without problems. Was it working properly before or was there some problem that required cleaning?
