City Series Single - Manufactured in June 2007, red

Dear all,
My seat fabric got torn from seams. This is the second piece of seat fabric I have. My daughther who uses it is only 25kg though the stroller claims to be able support up to 34kg.

Anybody has this same problem?

My baby is 8 months old and weighs 21 lbs. my jogger (red) is shredding in the same place as yours as well as in other places. I have to admit I spoke to the company and they sent me a brand new stroller. Their customer service is great!

This is an unfortunate occurance! The integrity of the stroller's fabric seams is extremely important: especuially if you plan to use your stroller for a long period of time. The best solution is to contact baby jogger directly. They are usually pretty good about taking care of such issues. You can contact them by visiting their contact page located at :

Hope this helps!

I am trying to cut out the quilt for pattern and 3795 and I'm confused why I need to put price 2 on the fold line

Cannot see the pattern you are describing, but there is a very good reason why you need to double the fabric.

Because that piece needs to be doubled. If you cut out only one piece, you would only have half of what is needed. If you cut 2 separate pieces, that means you would have to sew a seam down the middle (plus, once you've sewn a seam, that particular piece will be too small since you reduced the size by taking two seams-width out of it).

By way of example, look at the back of your blouse. It is one solid piece from underarm to the other underarm. One side is the mirror image of the other side, with the centerline down the middle of your back. The pattern companies save paper by giving you only half the pattern, and you accomplish making a full piece by placing the pattern's center line on the fold of the fabric. When you've cut out the fabric and open it up, you have one "complete" piece.

Difficulty achieving a consistent 1/4 inch seam allowance

Using a straight stitch needle plate helps a lot. The end of the fabric doesn't get drawn down into the zig zag needle hole. The needle plate will cost around $50 but for me it is worth it for accurate piecing.

Seat is torn. seam on left side holding back suport

The torn seat must be repaired or if the damge is more it must be replaced. you can try with soft washable cushions on the seat that would help after the seat is repaired. Secondly the back support suspension as you mentioned can be an aligment issue and if there was any damage while it was transported this change would have affected the framework and so there will be shift. Keep the stroller on flat ground and measure all side, if there is a bend you can use force to strengthen and correct.

What is the difference between the Quinny Buzz 3 2007 model and the 2011 model?

Good Morning

The 2007 model came with a single thick seat fabric which customer feedback indicated became too small for older children, so the 2nd stage seat fabric was introduced and all Buzz models between 2007-2010 have two seat fabrics depending on the age and size of the child using it. The 2011 model has a single seat fabric suitable from birth right up until about 3.5 years of age.

In addition improvements have been made on the chassis overall as with any new product each time a new updated version is released but the basic chassis structure remains the same and spare parts are interchangeable to an extent.

The 2007-2010 models would have come with the Buzz box as standard, and the Buzz shopping basket was a seperate accessory: For the 2011 model the Buzz shopping basket comes as standard (Customer feedback indicated it would be more popular and useful) and the Buzz box is a seperate accessory.

Hi, what is the difference betwen the first stage and the second stage seat for buzz

For Quinny Buzz 2007-2010 model there are two seat fabrics. The infant stage seat fabric is a thicker, neoprene fabric for newborn babies up to approximately 18 months old. The 2nd stage seat fabric is a thick canvas type fabric which replaces the neoprene fabric and provides more space for an older child (approx 18 months to approx 3.5 yrs) Please contact us directly if you require additional assistance -

I have a 2008 saturn sky. When I put the top up the fabric on the passengers side always gets pinched in the frame and I have to keep pulling it out. Is this a common problem. Can it be resolved.

I had the same problem. Check for a tear on the underside of the top..,directly underneath where the fabric gets pinched. It's most likely torn from the metal piece that has popped out of the rubber shroud. Every time you open and close the top, this part rubs...eventually tears...and then pinches when you try to close the top back.

Solution --

1. Bend the metal back into place (hammer if necessary).
2. Glue a piece of velcro (fuzzy side up) to cover the exposed metal (gorilla glue works nice..but don't use too much!!)
3. Glue a piece of vinyl to the underside of the top (covering the rip)...use a good, flexible-type contact cement and let it sit for a couple of days to allow proper adhesion.
4. The velcro will slide on the vinyl more pinched top!

Need the plastic refill window.

You need to know if the B-2111 was manufactured before or after June of 1997
Before June of 97 part # = #2112-34
After June of 97 part # = #2112-38
You should be able to purchase each one for under $5.00 ShopBobrickdotCom

Need to find a solution to the swayed back of the seat. My 9mon old is straining to sit up straighter.

there is a piece u can buy called a hard back insert from baby jogger which firms up the back. essentially a plastic piece that looks a lot like corrugated cardboard. it is tapered and slides into the velcroed pocket in seat back.
