Why does my pokemon pearl game freeze when i go to a place

In ruby you can not catch pokemon in from diamond and pearl because ruby is an earlier pokemon game, diamond and pearl were invented later. in other words, your pokemon ruby doesn't know and can't learn anything from diamond and pearl.

maybe such game is fake

u should go to a nintendo website or place or some where and ask maybe ur ds game holder is broken

I figured it out. I went to the list of all the games it had. Pokemon Pearl wasn't there, but Pokemon Diamond was. I clicked on Diamond and I got to cheat on Pearl!

Yes.....the same thing happened to me the other day; but I fixed it. Go onto Google and type in "Poke'mon Pearl number for action replay". Then, find the number for it and install the number into your action replay; It's that easy.

What i did is download a diffrent Pokemon pearl file made a folder i put my (SAV) file inside then i put the new pearl file inside the folder started it up and it dident freee and my save file was still there.
if u start it up and it creates a new SAV file rename your old SAV file the same name as the new one that has been created (exacly the same) delete the new save file start up the game and you old save will be there. :)

try pokemon pearl it's pretty much the same thing and when you get diamond fixed you can palkia and dialga on either game

This has happened to me before after migrating from saphire. All i did was wait about an hour and try again. Repeat trying if it continues to freeze. :)

this could mean 2 things,ur ds is old,or game is dirty or old so maybe ask ur friend can u use their ds and see if ur game works , if it does that means u shud get a new ds.if it dosent then u shud get a new copy of the game
