I can go into menu and navigate to factory reset, but nothing works. Is there a way to fix this, or a manual reset.
Other problems: 1. the tv has shifted lines of viewing (not sure how to describe) 2. glitches, it some times will freeze for a fraction of a second, you can still watch but its not perfect 3. My parent code is locked, and I never set a code. Is there a administrator pass code so I can change the level.
Thanks to anyone who can help. This tv has been nothing but trouble since I got it.
Your tv might be in showroom mode. Use the remote to open the main menu, go to picture, go to mode, go to power up and make sure that home is selected and not showroom. Many of the controls are disabled in showroom mode.

Every Android handheld has the same pattern on how to restore or reset the phone back to factory settings. Factory settings means you are wiping the data in the internal storage but not whats on the SD card. See steps below: 1. Turn off the tablet by pressing and holding the power for 30 seconds and tap shut down. 2. Press and hold power plus volume up until an android menu appear 3. Use the volume keys to navigate and option key or power to select. 4. look for factory reset and wipe data 5. restart the device and it should be back to factory settings.
If nothing else works, you may have to manually calibrate the dials inside the mirror box. This video link will show you how. http://youtu.be/R1DIko0a1MA
This may be necessary if the printer got bumped really hard.
