If this is a straight power amp it might require a pre amp
that inputs decoded 5.1 signal other wise the sub may not be receiving an input signal.
make sure there is nothing wrong with the sub by hooking it to one of the other channels FL or FR if this works then it got to be a problem with no signal getting to the sub woofer.

How to setup my fli900s amp ,just wont to know how to get the best sound out of it

In order to get the bass you want, you'll run your amp switched as a two channel amp and you'll need to run your subwoofers in 4 ohm Mono that's 450 x 2 to give you 900 watts of power.

2, 2 ohm dual voice coils ran in series and bridged on the amp for each sub.

Otherwise, Single Voice Coil 4 ohm subwoofers bridged to amp.

Need to pick perfect amp

I suggest to use separate amps to your sub, get a 2 channel amp for your sub and 4 channel amps for your speakers.

Here are my Top 5

  • JL Audio 1000/1V2

Fried electronics in KLH ASW10-120B subwoofer

It is a 4 ohm nominal impedance woofer. If you put a new woofer in, it will last maybe half an hour and then fry/melt. The problem is the amp, not the woofer. Throw the amp out and use the box as a passive sub. Get a 100 hz sub crossover.

Amp Will Not Stop Overheating

You say you have 2 p312d2 subs. Ok so the d2 stands for dual 2homs (2 X 2homs voice coils per sub) , conecting in parallel the 2 voice coils of only one sub will create 1hom load to the amp, and if your amp is 2homs stable per chanel that means you are lowering too much your homs causing the overhwating to it.
