K1 Problem Charging Battery

When I charge my K1 the phone never gets to the "Charge Complete" point. The battery charges and the indicator shows 3 bars but it always shows "Charging."
Anyone else have this problem? - I have tried two different chargers including the USB computer connection, Turning the phone on, and off without any sucesss. I have left the phone charging for more than 48 hours also.

Re: K1 Problem Charging Battery

Sounds like the battery to me. there is a chance it is the phone. Check on your warranty and see about a battery replacement first. Its much more likely.

I had replaced with a new battery and its just worked for one and form after next days it dont get charged.....the shopkeeper says the mobile is not getting charged.......

In case the battery is not getting charged. It can be due to 3 reasons

1. The power adapter through which you are tryiing to charge the battery is u/s Check with another adapter and see if its charging then the problem is with the charger else.

2. Take out the battery and put it on another phone and try to charge it. If it is charging then the problem is with the mobile charging point and not the battery. If not charging then the problem is with the battery only.

3. Mobile charging point is not working due to which the battery is not charging to check this out just put your battery on another phone and check if its charging. If charging then you are required to get your charging point on your mobile repaired.

Trouble charching battery, after 6 houres only one bar on battery . Charging will not complete.

1 charger
3.charging port
There are three ares to look at,
There are three different things you can try to determine the real problem of your phone, firstly, try use a similar charger to charge the phone to see if it will hold charge, if it does, it means your charger is bad, get a new charger. secondly, another area you will need to look at is removing the battery on your phone and charging the battery of your phone with a similar phone to see if the phone will charge the battery and hold charge, if it did not, it means the battery of your phone is bad and will need to be replace, lastlt, check, the charging port of your phone might be malfunctioning and not charging your phone, if the two above look good, it means the charging port is the problem, replace the charging port and you will see that your phone will hold charge.

Take care.

Battery charge

I agree that it sounds like you charger port is going bad.

The firststep is to contact your carrier to see if it is covered under warranty. If it is, great get it replaced.

If not, you have 3 options:

1. you can get the charging port repaired. The cost is about 50 dollars. I recommend

2. you can get a new phone. cost ???

3.You can get an external battery charger to charger the battery separate from phone. cost about 25 dollars. Check out the following link for ones that are available on ebay. A extra battery is a good idea as well so you can have one charging at all times.

I hope that helps

Battery won't charge.

normally many cell phones requires 6-10hrs for its batter to fully charge up. also i have seen it where battery can be brand new but doesn't have enough juice to hold the charge.
now as far as red light on charger, remember even if you have 99% charged batter and you plug in the charger it will show you red light on phone/cradle.

FYI- all brand new phones are covered with 30 days of warranty replacement with new phone. after 30 days it covers upto 1 year from the date of purchase with refurbished phones.

In your case i think it is just the battery, try having your provider replacing new battery if no luck again then my suggestion will be to replace your phone with new battery with in 30 days.
