This is due to some part failure in the fusing unit.
May be thermostat.

Basically the error message is telling you the printer cannot keep the fuser temperature at the proper temperature (too low). It could be a lot of things but typically it is due to a fuser assembly gone bad.

there is a 2 wire device (thermistor) that rests against the fuser roller to measure the temperauture. if the fuser is getting quite hot, suspect the thermistor to be either dirty (remove and clean it with alcohol) or defective. if fuser not getting hot, then suspect burned out fuser heater (look inside fuser roller for a long light bulb).

I bought another second hand one for € 40,00 and replaced the unit. It's just 5 screws and on we go again.

I have a CLP 500 and bought a CLP510N. The units are the same. unfortunately not all parts on the machine are the same, but for now mine works again.

Error Engine Fuser low heat

possibly the fusers thermostat is displaced. it rides very close to the roller to get an accurate reading, look for 2 wires into a black "thing" toward the middle of the roller. this is a thermistor which sends its reading to the mainboard. check if the fuser is getting very warm, there is a thermo couple in series with the fusers power so it wont overheat but if its getting hot and the printer doesnt know it then the dammaged/displaced thermostat would be the thing to look for,

Engine Fuser Low Heat Error

What this means is that the fuser is not reaching operating temperature. The most common reason for this failure is the xenon lamp inside the heat roller of the fuser has burned out. You can verify this by checking for continuity between the two contacts that connect to the lamp with an Ohm meter or digital multi meter.

If the continuity is good, the second most common reason for failure would be the LVPS, or low voltage power supply.

And last, although by far the least common reason for this error is the main logic board.

Have you checked to see if the unit is under warranty? If so, this would be a covered repair.

The part number for the fuser is listed below. Depending on your location and electrical system ( 110 or 220 )

ELA UNIT-FUSER 230V part number :JC96-03239A for use with 230V
ELA UNIT-FUSER 110V part number :JC96-03239B for use with 110V

Other then samsung, you can try a google search, and also an ebay search for the part number and find the best price for the item.

Good luck,

Cory

ther is a prob in your fusing unit, chances are the thermistor is not working, if you can still feel some heat in this area, either the lamps are working fine but the sensing device fails to read the actual temp.

you need a tech to correct this prob

Thats probably the best way to solve the solution. Sometimes if there is a thermistor that is causing the problem that can be serviceable in the fuser unit, that can be replaced instead of purchasing a whole new fuser assembly. It's less expensive replacing the thermistor.
