Question about iLO (2 GB) MP3 Player

Ilo (2GB) Turns itself off when hooked up to the computer

I bought my son one of these and the computer will not reconize it. It turn itself off as soon as you plug it into the computer. Anyone one else with this problem. To me it looks like this thing isn't any good with all the problems and no solutions.

    I just recently bought the ilo 2gb mp3 player and I'm having problems downloading songs. When I plug it into the computer it turns itself off. I have trouble shooted with microsoft and it was still no help. Is anyone else having this problem? Please contact me at clenard25@sprintpcs.com.

the computer has not have the right thing to play your iLO. I would look at the owners manuler and see what your computer needs or inserted the iLO CD

Need help


1) Disconnect from computer, turn it off, hold in volume + button and reconnect it to your computer - continue holding volume + until the Found Hardware Wizard comes up.

REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.

Ilo is not reconized by the computer


I have the ilo and i had the same problem! I hooked it up with my husbands Creative brand mp3 cord and it worked. It recognized it as the ilo and allowed my to sync. I hope this was helpful.

Computer locks up everytime I connect my USB cable into the MP3 ilo 2GB player.


Take it back to WalMart and get another one. This is broken.
