Question about IBM ThinkPad T30 2366 Notebook
On startup, LCD flickers around, you can see the Windows Start up for a few seconds, then goes out. If I leave the laptop on, the hard drive grinds away for a loooong time and during that time, the screen flickers in and out, occasionally I'm able to make out images but now that the hard drive has settled down, nothing. The back light is working but I can't see anything at all on the screen. I plugged in an external monitor and it works fine, so that would rule out the video card, right? If it's the cable from the laptop to the LCD, where can I find detailed steps to take it apart and try to repair it? Thanks so much.
This is an IBM original problem. This Machine came with this defective from the OEM.Think about it many people have the Same problem all around the USA.Call IBM.Amd complains about it right now.Give them a piece of your mind!!!!!!!!!!!Freedom of Speech one of our Amendment??Give it to them with out Vaseline????????

I have LEnova T60 , same problem. I have changed all cables inlcuding LCD cable but still flicker, take off the HDD and DVD drive and tested with a PC doctor diagnostic software - still flicker. but It doesn't flicker in setup mode (BIOS).
I wondering if some have resolved it????
