Question about Epson Stylus Photo R300 InkJet Printer
I had the printer for almost 3 years but it was seldom used. Total pages printed might be less than 500 sheets.
I used 3rd party remanufactured ink all the time and it didn't have any problem. it was printing fine all the time.
Today I have an error message "printer part are at the end of service life, see printing manual for details".
How do I get around this problem? I know the print head is fine. It just cannot deteriorate so badly overnight. I presume the printer was programmed to send out the message after so many time used. I just want to use it until I determine it is at the end of service life instead of the machine telling me that. Very frustrated indeed. I use quite a few Epson inkjet printer before and used to have confidence with Epson but now I doubt I will buy it in the future.
Download free ssc service utillity read the help menu shows you how to reset counters etc
