I had the printer for almost 3 years but it was seldom used. Total pages printed might be less than 500 sheets. I used 3rd party remanufactured ink all the time and it didn't have any problem. it was printing fine all the time. Today I have an error message "printer part are at the end of service life, see printing manual for details". How do I get around this problem? I know the print head is fine. It just cannot deteriorate so badly overnight. I presume the printer was programmed to send out the message after so many time used. I just want to use it until I determine it is at the end of service life instead of the machine telling me that. Very frustrated indeed. I use quite a few Epson inkjet printer before and used to have confidence with Epson but now I doubt I will buy it in the future.

I believe this is going to be a software issue. Do a print preview of the booklet first to see if they are showing up in the right order. If they are, then it is a printer issues and I really can't help you there, but it they aren't then you know it might be a software issue. Check you formatting on the document before you trying printing it again.
I have had a R300 for a while now and had a few cartridges in it. Recently a message came up on the screen 'parts inside your printer are at the end of their life' and the printer refused to work! After searching the web it appears to be a waste ink counter, but I could not find any info on resetting it. So I tried pressing different combinations of buttons on the printer and success.
Press and hold 'stop' 'maintenance' and 'power' buttons for about 10 seconds, a message will come on the screen saying counter is reset and to turn off.
Thats it turned my printer back on and all works fine again.
