Question about Teac A-H500 Amplifier

TEAC A-h500 integrated stereo amplifier

No sound from the amp - the power standby indicator is blinking. I have unplugged all wires from the back, turned off and on, but still light is blinking. I have replaced all wires and turned oof and on, but still no change.

trouble shooting guide says this happens if the speaker connection wires have short circuted or the output is overloaded.

I have a TEAC 500 amp. It just cut out when I was listening to music. Now there appears to be no power (unit does not light up), but the power outlet sockets are still powering the other components - so...

More than likely, the internal regulated power supply has gone bad. The power outlets going out are usually just straight wired from the incoming power source, and not run through the power supply. Good luck!

The volume will not turn down

Do the volume controls on the stereo itself (not the remote) work? Try using a universal remote to lower the volume.

TA-N9000ES Amp - Standby light constantly blinks - no sound

The flashing light is indicating that a fault has been detected, and it is staying in "protect mode". First disconnect all cables from the processor (except the power cord) and then power up the processor. This will eliminate the possibility of a shorted cable or a problem with any connected components. f the light still flashes, there is an internal problem and the processor will require profesional service.
