Question about Maxent MX-42HPM20 42 in. Plasma HDTV
I called the tech guys where I bought this tv (Best Buy) and they informed me that there is a chip that goes bad on the tv and it needs to be replaced. The problem is, the chip is a generic brand (according to the tech guy) and is no longer produced. He said that this is a common issue with the Maxent tv's and the only way to remedy the issue is to replace the tv. Fortunately, I was still covered by the warranty...

Do they look like pixie dust...or sparkly?....if so I can give you a procedure to get rid of that
