Kawasaki 19.2V Battery

Since the day I brought the 19.2V drill home, I have had a problem with the batteries holding a charge.

i've had the same problem...the batteries won't hold a charge & often the charger doesn't turn 'on' properly.

bought the drill from OSH - battery will not hold a charge and charger will not turn on (light) when the battery is plugged in.

My charger light -will- come on, but dims out after about 10 seconds!
    I don't think it's charging! :-)

Your problem could be the battery or possiblt the charger but call 1-800-423-3598, give them your model number so they can provide you with either a replacement or a refund.

These drills are cheap, just got off the phone with tech service, was instructed to take a part my drill after it began to smoke and failed to work, I will buy something else and throw this away.

Battery will not hold charge

This is an indication of memory in a battery or failing battery in the pack. Batteries should be run until they are flat then recharged and never recharged when they are part charged as they develop a memory of that charge point that the charger cannot overcome and will not charge past. If the battery in a pack has failed then there are battery re-acker shops that can replace batteries in a pack cheaper than a new battery unit and most probably with better batteries.

My Kawasaki 19.2 drill broke. The batteries and charger are good. Can I buy just another drill?

Most times you can buy battery tools without the battery but not sure on that brand. I know for me it never hurts to have extra batteries and charger, rarely have any down time waiting for a charge.

My husband has a Kawasaki drill. he has charged the 2 batteries and neither of them works . he has had it for 1 1/2 years and never had trouble till a few days ago.we have been using it but didn't charge...

check voltage on batterys with volt meter if the batterys are weak try recharging. try them in flashlight or other peice of equipment.. try moving forward reverse switch while pressing trigger and maybe clean battery contacts with eraser.

How can I charge the battery on a 2006 750 Kawasaki

Go to Sears or a hardware store and get a 2amp battery charger. Fill the battery cells with water to cover the top of the battery plates. Let charge overnight. The battery may take a charge and hold it OR it may take a charge and not hold it for more than a day or two. A new battery may be needed.

Kawasaki 19.2 cordless drill

Re: Burned trigger switch: call the number on the drill (800.590.3723) and tell them what happened. They will offer to send you a new switch or have you send the drill in for replacement of the switch--although the person I talked with said they would probably just replace the whole drill.
