Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

1 Answer

"To play this disc, put it in an Xbox 360 console"?

This white screen with different languages continues to pop up after about 10 seconds on putting a disc in the disc tray and closing it.

This happens to all of my games no matter how many times I clean them. I also used a laser-cleaning disc with "fibre-brushes" to clean the laser... but no use. I have to keep ejecting the disc and putting it back in again about 40 odd times for it to work!

For some odd reason, my Halo 3 game tends to work a lot less then a few other games... for example, my Fight Night Round 3 game works alot quicker than my Halo 3 one - and there is very little (if none at all) scratches on them.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? It's really starting to touch my nerves...

When i put a xbox 360 game on its coming up dvd and chinese writting please help

You most probably need to change the language settings, if that's the problem, Oh, or if it's that white screen, with the grey chinesey writing, i think it means it cannot play the disc, i used to get that alot with my old xbox, you should maybe take the disc out and give it a clean, or even go to gamestation or wherever and get some games cleaned for like £2 a disc :) xx

Old drive into other system

Is that a hard drive or disc drive?  If its a disc drive was it compatible with that console because microsoft have used about a billion different drives for their 360. Each drive is compatible with a certain series of consoles.  Check this link to find out if you have put a compatible drive in you old 360.

Disc wont read

Are you using a modded Xbox 360 console?, if not then the disc you are trying to play is probably a copied Xbox 360 disc which would not work on an original Xbox 360
