Panasonic NN-8501V Convection beeps on AUTO DEFROST when cold

I have to use a hair dryer to stop the AUTO DEFROST button from activating when the built in unit in my RV gets cold. I added a shutting vent to reduce cold but every night, even in relatively warm Yuma AZ in January, I must uplug the microwave or it will wake me with constant beeping and cannot be reset until it is warmed up. It usually takes me about 3 minutes with a hair dryer pointed at the touch panel to stop the beeping and get control to heat up my morning coffee. HELP! Do I have to replace the panel? If so, is it replaceable? Any other possible fix short of replacing the whole unit?

My RV installed Panasonic NN-8501V is beeping as follows. It says Reheat and does a quick count down of 4 3 2 1 and then repeats over and over. The only way to stop it is to unplug it. When plugged back in, it starts all over. Can't reset it or make it heat or cook. Any help would be appreciated.

My RV installed Panasonic NN-8501V beeps quickly while the display reads Reheat and a count down display of 4 3 2 1 over and over. The only way to make it stop is to unplug it. When plugged back in starts all over beeping. Can't override, reset, or cook. Just beeps. I would greatly appreciate any help. I just got it back from the repair shop and everything checked out good. I hadn't yet experienced the beeping problem and didn't tell the repair shop about it.

My panasonic NN-8500 microwave/convection oven the microwave part is working fine but,the convection grill defrost is not

Possibly the defrost heater element has failed. You will need to strip the cabinet off and use a multimeter to test the element. May also be the overtemp safety thermostat may have failed.

NN 8501V Panasonic Dimension 4 Convection/Microwave oven keeps blowing fuse

If it went dead almost immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted high-voltage capacitor.

If it went dead several seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.

If it goes dead or blows the breaker (or GFI) when you plug it in or open or close the door, then there's a problem with a door switch or door switch mount.

If it's intermittent or random, it may be a bad connection, usually on the control board or a loose fuse holder, or even an intermittent fuse.

I got this microwave in my house, but its not working. all the buttons are not working accept stop/cancel button. please send me the sollution.

I have a similar microwave that I recently repaired. NN-9854 (bad capacitor). So your microwave functions but you cant stop it unless you unplug it, it ends its cycle, or you open the door? Does it beep when pressed? If not, you need a new control pad.

I have the same problem with Panasonic NN-8501V Microwave Oven

I took the touch pad control unit apart, clean the connector for the ribbon wire connection between the key pad and the control unit, reseated the ribbon wire in the connection. Everything worked like new.

RV Microwave/Convection by Panosonic Model NN-8501V, touch controls go crazy when cold, indicating the AUTO DEF button is in continuous contact. CLEAR/STOP only works for a second and then AUTO DEF starts...

I tried looking up the part number for this model and they don't identify clearly what the touch pad is. Would have to get one of the parts companys ( to do research on it.
I've done surgery on a few touch panels and it usually works out. Have to break through the plastic tabs holding it together, then you can clean the contacts. Then do something like find little tiny screws to fasten it back together.
Hope Ya Fix It!
