Question about Apple iPod nano
For an ipod nano:
select the fourth set of words on the main screen which takes you to settings. scroll all the way down to reset all settings and it will allow you to change your language first. you might have to reset things like your clock and such, but at least your language is back.

Try doing Get Info on the Numbers program icon, open the Languages tab, and uncheck all boxes except English.
