Question about Magellan RoadMate 300 GPS Receiver
After i turn on the gps unit it goes out after 10 seconds.it worked fine for a year .it only started doing this recently.could the power switch break?
Mine is 2 years old and it just started doing the same thing! It would reset every few minutes. I see the same message about the maps being older, but I am not sure if that message is related to the problem or I just start paying attention.

It is the cigarette adapter, mine was doing the same thing until I bought a new adapter. When the old adapter plug to the GPS unit moved at all it would lose power.
