How do you check if the pump is blocked on a bosch classixx washing machine manual? Bottom right at the front, I guess. What do I do? How much water will come out - a towel's worth? Should I place a tray underneath when I do it? I have lost my manual and could do with some pictures. Thanks!! Graham

This is almost certainly a simple problem with your empty pump filter being clogged. The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum. While it's trying to get the water evacuated, you will probably see the machine doing a slow tumble for up to 8 minutes and you may also hear the empty pump running too.
You need to locate and clean the filter. Depending on the model (not familiar which with the model you mention) there is probably a round filter cap on the front of the machine at the bottom (It may be behind a small door or hidden behind a clip on panel on the bottom) Many models of this design also have a small hose to the right of the filter cap that you can pull out, remove a plug from and drain off any water in the filter before you remove the filter and get your floor wet, so take a look for this before you remove the filter and get soaked.

you should have a cover that will come off ... on front bottom... then u will see a filter housing lid unscrew ...have towels a tray ready as water will come out.... check filter when out and see if theres any foreign objects inside ie money ect .. put back together hopefully your happy .........

the spinner arm itself may be blocked..............remove arm and check hold are clear..........

The 03 error code is the drain. Disconnect the drain hoses and check for blockages. If no blockage "time" the drain interval. If it's more than 6 minutes it's the pump. Also make sure you're using the correct type of soap so the ball check valve on the bottom of the outer drum isn't getting fouled with excessive suds. Also disconnect the drain hose from your house plumbing and let it free flow on it's own. This will tell you if the block is in your plumbing, and not in the machine. Assuming that your filter is clean.

Just go to https://portal.bsh-partner.com/portal%28bD1kZSZjPTAwOQ==%29/PORTALFRAME.HTM and type in the E-number for your appliance - mine is WAE28162GB/03 but you should be able to find yours inside the door on the rating plate - of it's not there try the inside of the pump filter door (bottom right of machine). The manual is in PDF format.

If it is only noisy when draining the water, then could be something stuck in pump.
There should be a filter located at the bottom front right of washer behind a cover.
Unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean, and look inside the pump opening as well to see if anything is stuck there.

pump blocked need to unplug machine and remove back and find pump this pump will need to removed and cleaned or replaced . if you do this your self you will blank or towels on the floor because there could be lts of water . Better to phone your local engineer . cheaper than manufacture.

The filter is located at the bottom front right of washer, behind a drop down cover or flap.
Unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean.
