go winrar.com or winzip.com to get the decompression software!

you might want to buy that power jack on ebay if its not done yet !
make shure you use a magnetic bracelet not to burn the laptop with static electricity!

Try another Cord/Charger with the EXACT same power specs. Have you cleaned the fan, vents, heatsink recently? Do you get to any screen? BIOS setup? Boot Menu? Has the AC jack been damaged due to pulling on the cord?

Have you made sure that there are no devices such as USB's or any other memory device as some laptops will not boot with them plugged in

most times the battery is located under the ram chips

there is also 2 pins that can be shorted together that will reset the bios password if you cannot see the battery when opening the ram door.

Wireless only available when powered by intergral battery


Hello,

Did you double post this question? I think you might have a hardware profile set up not to turn off wireless when in plug mode. If that isn't the case look in the BIOS and see if there is a setting in there. You could also check the power settings on your laptop.

Connecting samsung monitor to my laptop


Assuming you are connecting the mointor to DVI or VGA cable. You can connect the monitor through windows. In vista, right click, personalize, display settings, You should see a greyed out monitor. Click extened the desktop onto this monitor, It should automaticaly detect itself.
In xp its similar. Right click on desktop, go to properties. You should see a screen pop up. Go to the last tab. it should be monitor. Click on teh greyed out area and click Extend the display to this monitor.
