Question about Philips 9P6040C 60" Rear Projection Television
My screen was mishapen for a while when i turned it on but once it warmed up it was alright but the picture will not show up the light comes on and the there is an almost mouse like squeak and nothing
I had the same issue. The screen would shrink and then expand over and over. After thrity minutes it would correct itself.
After a few months of doing this it just broke - no sound and no videe but the power light was still on.
I searched these forums but did not find clear instructions or kits on how to fix it. I gave up and called in a repair tech. He fixed my TV in less than 30 minutes.
To help others I documented the fix and created a repair kit and step by step quide on how to fix the problem. You can find it here. http://www.magnavoxhelp.com
