Think pad wireless card

I cant get my ibm thinkpad to recognize my wireless card. keep getting code 10. saying card cant statrt

Re: think pad wireless card

You may try the following:

1) Plug the wireless card on another slot
2) Update the drivers of the wireless card

If those does not work, you may try to install the wireless card on another computer just to isolate if the problem is on the wireless card or on the slot of the computer

Cant connect to wireless network,

To connect your ThinkPad to your wireless router, the wireless card in the ThinkPad needs to be configures with the router's wireless settings, ie. the SSID and encryption key etc.

I am running xp pro I installed the edimax card but I do not have the disc anylonger so I went to the website and downloaded the drivers for xp and it keeps telling me that the device does not exist.I have...

Uninstall the driver and software for the card.
Physically uninstall the card.
Install the software.
Shut down and install the card.

With many wireless cards - you have to install the software BEFORE installing the hardware.

IBM ThinkPad R51, with Windows XP Serv Pack 3 installed. lately I get the BOSD and on automatic error reporting windows keeps asking to get the new driver for the Intel network adaptor. I have donwloaded...

I am having the same problem. So far no solution, only figured out that I can keep the wireless radio turned off, and then at least the thinkpad R51 can work with an ethernet cable...

Dynex wireless adapter


When you posted "cant...dynex wireless notebook card...operate..." do you mean:

1. It is not recognized by Win98SE;
2. Will not install:
3. missing/error on drivers;
4. will not connect:

6. will connect but no internet access?

Pls post back details. Further to what AP/Router are you connecting to?
