I bought the digal camra and i don't know how to delet pic off the memery card

Different cameras have different ways of deleting pictures. Usually there is a way to view the pictures you have taken on the camera screen and then when you find a picture that you would like to delete, you have to press a delete button (maybe a button with a trash can on it). If you tell me the camera model, I can explain exactly how to delete pictures. Of course you can always insert the memory card in your computer and delete the pictures from there. If you need more help, let me know!

All of my photo's from my holiday have been deleted. once they got to around 300 pictures, they deleted them all. i then started taking more pictures and when it got to around the same amount, they all...

It should be said again, people should more often backup their valuable data.

If the pictures were on the camera's memory card and if they were automagically
deleted after an amount of 300 pictures, the memory card or the camera is faulty.
Place a new memorycard into the camera and format it, than test of it will then
work correctly. If not, the camera is probably faulty.

When overwriting the memorycard with other pictures, the older deleted ones are
gone forever and cannot being recovered.

There is a handy testprogram to check memory cards and usb-sticks in a PC:

What to do when it says internal memory full

Delete some pictures off you camera. It means that there is no more room on your memory.

Make sure to transfer them to a computer, before you delete them, as you wouldn't want to lose precious memories.

I deleted photos by mistake that were taken in august 2010 please help to get back very urgent thank you

First take the memory card out of the camera. Pictures that have been deleted are probably still there, but will be overwritten if you take any more pictures on top of them.

Your camera is not able to undelete pictures, but there are programs for doing this on a computer. You can put the memory card into a card reader attached to a computer, and use an undelete program to recover the deleted files. Undelete programs are available for free download from the internet, try the one at THIS LINK

If the pictures are very important to you, you might want to seek help from an experienced person.

Transfer Photos from favorites to PC?

Hi I am sorry to say sounds like you have deleted them , the menu favourites is not a separate memory it is just a prefix for the camera to find your favorite pictures .. so if you have erased them I think all you are actually seeing on the camera are the saved thumbprints to favourites with the address on them so the camera knew where they where stored .. But you have deleted them so they wont show in the cards directory as they are no longer there . To doubly check my theory please check your available memory on the card and work out how many photos it can store and what space is available .. and would there be space for your pictures on the card if they where still there for example .. card size 1ghz
each picture in Bmp format uses approx 500kb in jpeg or jif format approx 250 kb so multiply the number of photos you took by 250 or 500 depending on what format they are on the camera . take the available space stated and the maximum space available and deduct it from the greater , then tally the amount left with the amount of space needed for your photos . if it correlates then they may just be there in a hidden file if it doesen't then I am afraid you have lost them .. if it seems they are there in files on your computer activate hidden files view and you just may find them .. but I seriously doubt it .. always save pictures to Computer before deleting them from any directory on the camera as when moving them from directory on camera it sometimes only re categorizes them as the camera has limited space .. Regards Vortash

Maximum of pictures on 3030-Z?

At HQ quality I get at least 81 on a 64 mb. Smaller or larger cards I get numbers proportional to the card mb. I think the 16 number is based on the card that ships with the camera. You can buy as many SM cards as you need and offload them to your computer as you like and reuse the smartmedia.
