there is a connect button on mouse and a connect button on receiver both have been pushed in a number of ways, both at same time one at a time, switching which one at a time, lol. still nothing.

  • tmargetta Nov 24, 2009

Well, now the keyboard as well does not work, and the light on the receiver for the mouse went out as well. So it must be that the receiver went out.

Also there is no learn button and only on is USB (Keyboard) and we have an adaptor on it. And yes I have tried switching to USB and still nothing works.

Usally there is a learn button on the bottom of the mouse have you tried holding that down? What you have to do is sync your mouse with your USB stick that plugs into your computer. I think there is also a learn button on the USB stick.

Try holding down the reset button for 5 seconds. usually that will re-establish the connection to the USB dongle

  • Anonymous Nov 24, 2009

hmm, yea that usually does it. try unplugging the USB dongle for like 10 seconds and try to plug it into a different USB port then try the connect button on the mouse

No red light on mouse...power light on then off again

Wireless mouses never made much sense to me since you have to be right at the computer to use them. I've had so many repair visits when the battery is dead just when you need it most to work. Save yourself the trouble and buy wired mouse.

I'd say 17 years old, XP year 2001 old
and HP ended support on it years ago.

if new batteries do not fix it
nor the reset (pairing) button fails.
and worse if your UNSTATED OS shows in device manager its is dead, then it is dead forever.

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

Wireless just stopped working. Changed batteries,

The behavior described indicates weak/dead batteries. Logitech brags about the battery life on this model, but in reality battery life varys dramatically between invidual units. I've seen one that would not operate at all on Ni-Cad rechargable batteries (only 1.2 volts even at full charge). If you must use rechargeables, stick with NiMH (metal hydride). Better yet, use long life lithium.

Also, make sure the "Nano" receiver isn't sitting in the storage bin. This is one of two ways to power off the mouse. The other is the 'Clip N Go' dock.

My GE mouse doesn't work anymore

First thing to do is check the device manager. If it shows up there, make sure that there are no icons saying there is a problem.

Mouse drawing to much power dances all over the screen

Make sure you don't have any bluetooth devices activated near your wireless mouse or it will keep making it move all over the screen, killing the batteries. After bluetooth devices are disabled, take the batteries out and leave the mouse sitting for awhile without the batteries in their to let it reset for a fresh start. Them put them back in and see if it works. If it still does not work, un-install and re-install the software that came with it.
