It crapped out either the system software or the switch that recognizes when its flipped open -- shut the phone down.. crack it open a few centimeters so u can kinda see the screen i.e less than a 1/4 the way open , using a toothpick or something similar use that to press the power button, wait and the phone should load up. note allow it to completely load to the main screen and try to navigate the software while still in this position you may be able to flip it open to work it more comfortably but definately WRITE *pen/paper* your important info from the phone i.e #'s and ect.. and prepare to buy another phone

Sony lcd TV was moved and now has one horizontal black line and a shadowing from the line down.

If the screen of your TV is black and nothing is displayed, see the FAQ below: No picture on the TV screen.
When using a TV with the Self Diagnostics option, try the Self Diagnostics test. For details, refer to the following Q&A: How to use the Self Diagnostics option.

Papers come out with black streeks on them from my sharp FO 4450

If everything is coming out with streaks, it's most likely your cleaning blade which is part of the drum cartridge. I've also seen this from 3rd party toner. Get Sharp toner for your Sharp fax if you don't have it already. If your black streaks are only on copies and sent faxes, this indicates that your scanner is dirty. It's located where you feed your paper in. Lift this part up and you'll see a strip of glass running front to back about 1/2 inch wide. Clean it and that will get rid of lines.

HP L7680 black print streeks every 5-6 lines

Any inkjet printer with this problem is caused by a build-up of ink on the undercarriage or the wiper assmbly.Usually on the right side where the cartridges are at rest. You have to get messy and clean that build-up with moistened cloth, qtips etc.

Canon SD 550-- sensor problem? Bought 3/2006 and have had no problems. Suddenly, LED screen went black--shows nothing and cannot take a picture altho will flash and record black picture. Shooting...

The shutter of the camera is not opening that is why every picture taken is recorded black. It is a mechanical problem and probably has nothing to do with the sensor. Not very expensive
