My Hotpoint Aquarius WF210 washing machine drum is not rotating

after washing a load of clothes, I found there was still some water in the drum. The drum could not move by hand. And a sock was stuck inside the edge of the drum. I pulled it out, now I can turn the drum round and round as usual. Not seem the belt becomes loosen.

But when use fast spin or other wash cycles again, everything else seems to be running fine. It completes all of the program but the drum does not move a bit.
When door opened, found only a little water came in.

I want to open the machine, but don't know how.
Please help.

I think the belt has come off or has been damaged.

To open the machine slide out the machine. On the back panel lower 1/3 you will see a plastic panel remove the screws and the panel will come away. Inside you will see the belt. I suspect you will need to reattach the belt of remove it and buy a replacement.

if you are unable to turn the drum by hand it may have ceased due to a sock or item of clothing jammed in it behind the drum this in turn may have snapped the belt

Why would the water in my washer not drain?

Hello there:
It spins, but doesn't pump out the water If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out. To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port. Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job. If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. It may be clogged or
broken You will need to inspect the pump for clogs by removing the inspection cover or plug and clean any debris that may be found inside of it then check for any broken parts and replace if any are found ok?
Hope this helps
Best regards mike

Water leaks out of the detergent tray like it's overflowing.

That happened to us when there was a piece of clothing (in this case a sock) that somehow left the drum and got lodged in the tube that feeds water into the drum. The entering water pours into and through the detergent tray, so when the tube feeding the drum is blocked, you get water pouring out of the detergent tray.
We had a repairperson come out to fix it, and he disassembled the whole thing enough that he could get at that tube and dislodge the sock. The next time it happened, I did the same thing, and managed to get it cleared as well. If you're not comfortable taking apart big chunks of your washer, it's probably smarter to let a qualified repairperson do this repair.

My clothes are sopping wet when the wash has finished and there is water at the bottom of the drum. I can sort it by taking clothes out, bailing out the water and then re-spinning the clothes twice to get...

Sounds like a blocked outlet pipe. It may be possible that a small item of clothing i.e. sock or baby item may be stuck between the drums and occasionally moves over the outlet from the drum causing the blockage, hence only happens once in a blue moon. To see if you can see if there is something between the drums use a flashlight to help you look through the holes in the inner drum to see if there's a stray sock or something that can be moving around between the drums and covering the outlet. If there is then you will have to remove the outlet pipe from the bottom of the drum to try and remove the item that is causing the blockage, check all the way around the drum as it may be stuck to the inner drum at the time. If no item is found between drums then the blockage may be in the outlet pipes (both sides of the pump) or in the pump. Check these also as it may even be a small button or coin creating a blockage if it is moving around.

The washer makes terrible noise when it spins

do you mean up and down? or when you turn the drum like you are spinning it?if it makes a sound like an airplane takeing off or a train rolling through your house. you have a bad bearing which is a very exspensive repair.

Hello, Our Maytag washer drum is stuck

Hello, the most common problem was clothing objects getting stuck between the inner tub and the top tub cover, run your fingers between the two and see if you feel any stuck clothing (socks) for example. Good luck

My Whirlpool Duet is eating small articles of clothing!

Okay...first of all, the "F02" error code is a Long Drain error. This is usually caused by debris clogging the drain pump. There is a drain reservoir that needs to be cleaned out periodically. The following link explains:

Keep in mind, it does not take much to damage these small drain pumps. If anything has been left in the pump for a significant period of time, it can damage the pump motor or impeller. The result: a drain pump that "appears" to be running, but may not be pumping anything. If the error code returns, you may have to replace the drain pump.

The socks getting lodged in the rubber door boot can be a common problem. Well...I should say, its not uncommon for this to happen. Due to the design of the rubber folds in the door boot, it can often collect small items. Sixteen socks is not a new record. I found over 20 one time! This rubber door boot must be inspected after EACH wash load to ensure items do not get stuck there. This can result in articles of clothing beginning to mildew and smell over a period of time as well. There are also small drain holes in the folds that help drain away some of the residual water. If these holes become clogged, water will stand in this area and begin to smell. The following link explains the recommended steps to keep this area clean:

In addition, it is not unheard of to have small articles of clothing (such as socks, underwear and wash cloths) to manage to work their way between the inner spin basket (stainless steel tub) and the outer tub shell and get lodged in the drain hose. I would recommend you inspect the drain hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump for obstructions as well. I have found wash cloths stuck in this hose that prevented the tub from draining. For future reference, use garment bags for washing small items. This will prevent some of the problems from reoccuring.

I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know if you require additional assistance.

Kenmore 44092/spin cycle

It turns out that there was a sock stuck within the pump in the washing machine. I removed the back cover and removed all the excess water, because once the sock was removed, the water was free to escape. I just removed the hose that connects to the pump and felt the sock, and was able to remove it. Once I hooked everything back up, the washing machine ran great.

Check the inside drum vanes. Sometimes the vanes may crack and grab certain items.Next check the front of the drum and tub for any loose items like wires from bras or curtains sometimes these may get stuck in the drum or vane and cause this problem. Also check your soap make sure there is not alot of suds this is my number one problem with these machines.H.E. soap is best but watch liquid tide it's been sudsing alot.
