Re: jumper settings to bypass password

Default passsword is Fireport (note: case sensitive)

To get set password to default unplug power, open case and find jumper next to battery (mounted vertically) on motherboard.
Put jumper to other position. Plug in power, wait ten or so seconds. Unplug power, put jumper back, and voila.

Re: jumper settings to bypass password

Unplug your system
Open up the computer,
take the lithium battery off the main board(its the size of a
nickle and silver)
press the power button 7 times
put the battery back in
boot the system
enter the setup and loat the optimised defaults
save and exit.

Cant open computer with original password so had to open second user with no password and would like to completely remove the password so I can get easy access to my Hotmail ect

There are jumpers on most all modern motherboards that are password overrides. Find out you motherboard manufacturer (should be stamped on the motherboard) and look up the diagram to show you the location of the jumper. Then simply place the jumper on the correct pins and the password will be wiped out.
Hope this helps.

I have a Neoware CA10, but I can't get into the Bios. In fact, I can't get into anything, no OS, no Bios.

do you hear the speaker beep when power is on?
If no beep first try resetting the BIOS with the use of the jumper inside the unit, if it's still not working, try removing the RAM module, if you hear beep's replace the defective RAM module, if it still not working than sorry IT'S DEAD

Good luck!

I have a Wyse 9150SE that was password protected and now cannot be accessed, how can I fix this?

If it is the user profiles that are password protected then go here to download a password removal utility. It is an image file (.iso) so it can simply be burned to a CD using and CD burning utility like ImgBurn. Burn the .iso file to a CD and boot it up and follow the on-screen instructions to clear the password to every account on the computer. And I know for a fact that it works because I've done more times than I can count.

Please rate this solution, thanks.

Good Luck ;)

Wyse S30 power settings

You can check the settings in the bios (password will be "Fireport") I dont think there is anything in there that would trigger this.

Is there a screen-saver option in the control panel for the device? If so, see if it is set. If not, then try using the Wyse website to update the terminals OS to the latest. This will hopefully solve the problem. It might just be an incompatability with the older OS version.

N38w2 maxstation maxspeed Mfg.Administrator password at startup

You probably saw this response on the net..
"Usually the Administrator Password is "password" or 123 and login is "Administrator".If still it does not work then you will have to call their customer support and tell about your problem."

So the only thing I can add is that these things are sometimes controlled by a battery on the motherboard... Like a bios battery or a jumper between two pins. Sorry if thats no help.

Login screen for Windows or BIOS?

Are you the original manager/owner of this machine? If you have forgotten your password, I could walk you through resetting it.

Bios password

You should be able to re set passwords in the bios by putting jumper on JBAT 1 terminal from pins 1&2 to pins 2&3 for a few seconds then back to pins 1&2, but you will have to set the time again etc.. But you may also find there is also a network log on password which is another story. Your Ratings are important
