If the digital temperature adjustment on your Kenmore refrigerator model 596.72003001 is not working, there are several possible causes and solutions to consider:
Check the power supply: Make sure that the refrigerator is properly plugged in and that the outlet is working. If the outlet is not functioning, try plugging the refrigerator into a different outlet.
Check the temperature sensor: The temperature sensor is responsible for communicating the current temperature to the digital display. If the sensor is malfunctioning or faulty, the display may not show the correct temperature or allow for adjustments. Check the sensor for any visible damage or signs of wear and tear, and replace it if necessary.
Check the control board: The control board is responsible for regulating the refrigerator's temperature and ensuring that the digital display is functioning correctly. If the control board is damaged or malfunctioning, it may need to be replaced.
Reset the refrigerator: Try resetting the refrigerator by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. This can sometimes help to reset the digital display and restore proper functionality.
If none of these solutions work, it may be necessary to contact a professional appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

From my understanding your Frigidaire refrigerator is not sealing properly which is causing an issue with your icemaker. You may need to replace the component for your seal. I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home to properly diagnosis and repair your refrigerator. Are you under warranty? Typically, if you are under warranty a repair should not come out of your pocket. I would consult with your manufacturer for warranty coverage. Hope this information helps. -OOS
Check the power cord if the refrigerator does not operate. Plug it in if it was accidentally unplugged, or try another outlet if that appears to be the problem. Double-check the circuit breaker in your home to make sure it is powered on. Inspect the refrigerator door if it doesn't completely close, or if it doesn't open easily. It could be that the bins or shelves are out of place, or certain food packages may keep the door open. Also, the gaskets of the door can get dirty over time, so clean them with soap and warm water. Examine the temperature of the refrigerator. If it's too warm, then reset the temperature controls. Check the air vents inside the refrigerator to make sure they're not blocked. Readjust the temperature if items in some of the compartments are freezing. Watch for trouble with the icemaker if your model has one. It may take at least one day for the refrigerator to produce ice, especially if you've just installed it. Connect the refrigerator to the household water supply and turn on the supply shutoff valve to get ice. If the ice is gray or has an unusual taste, install a water filter to flush out any minerals. Fix the water dispenser if you can't pour a full glass of water. The refrigerator's water shutoff valve may be off or incorrectly installed. Wait 24 hours for the water to cool if you've just installed the refrigerator. The water temperature should be no more than 50 degrees F.
more than likely you have a clogged drain. This occurs when the machine goes into defrost and the melted ice somehow is prevented from draining and therefor refreezing and blocking the drain for the next defrost cycle. Over time it gradually builds and starts voer a larger area. Being you have a top mount refrigerator(freezer on top) there are air ways that connect the freezer to the fridege, which is how its cooled. The best way to resolve this is to unplug the machine for atleast 24-48 hours to let all ice melt
you nead to clear the drain.when you clear the ice you nead to make sure that the drain is clear.a spider can build a nest in your drain line.if you remove the ice,you nead to clear the drain line with a hose.you nead to blow though hose and clear line.
The problem with the fabric softener not dispensing is not likely related to and F03 error code due to the washer not draining.
For the dispenser problem, I recommend that you pull the dispenser drawer out and clean it thoroughly. The fabric softener dispenser works on a siphoning principle. Make sure that the siphon hole in the dispenser is clear and not restricted or plugged.
You can fill the fabric softener compartment with water and make sure that it is siphoning properly while you are cleaning it. Make sure that the cover is properly replaced on the fabric softener dispenser when the drawer is replaced in the washer. You can use the diagnostic test described below to test the fabric softener dispenser. If the softener dispenser does not fill and dispense properly, you could have a failed dispenser valve, a failed control board or a wiring failure between components.
You indicated that you tested the pump and that it is good. You could have a clogged drain hose or a clogged washer drain that would prevent the washer from draining. You could also have a failed drain pump even though it runs. If the impeller is jammed or damaged, it will not pump out the water in the washer. You will likely need to unplug the washer and drain the water out of the tub using a wet/dry shop vacuum. To check the pump and drain hose at the bottom of the washer, remove the bottom front service panel and remove the drain pump. You may find a clog or restriction in the drain pump or connecting hoses. If the drain pump is damaged or will not work, it will need to be replaced.

about to do the same for a friend - hers has two visible screws through the floor at the back of the oven. the new plate has several additional holes. i have not yet removed the old, but looking at other google entries, i may just need to take out the visible screws. not sure of the model, but it is a free-standing kenmore gas range. gary
It depends on the actual model number (that you didn't supply), but most Kenmore F7 errors indicate a bad keypad or bad control panel. If you unplug the ribbon cable from the keypad to the panel then plug the oven back in and it starts beeping again, it's a bad control panel, if it doesn't beep anymore, it's a bad keypad.
