Panasonic DMR-EH75VS The clock does not display anymore when unit turned off.

On the EH50, you have to go into Setup Display Front Display and change it to Bright or Dim. Automatic turns it off when power is off

Unit turns on and off but nothing else works

Simultaneously press the [CHANNEL UP] and [CHANNEL DOWN] buttons on the front of the DVD Recorder for approximately 10 - 15 seconds (until the unit powers off).

Disconnect the wall outlet. Wait for 10 minutes. Then power up.

Is there a firmware update for panasonic dmr-e75vp

It is possible to update the firmware on your unit, provided that the firmware you download is not already installed on the machine.
In order to install the firmware update you would need to :
1. Visit Panasonic's website at
2. Click on the 'Support' link and then type in your Model No. DMR-EH75
3. Click on 'Drivers and Downloads'
4. You may download the firmware by clicking on the 'Download' link
5.After the firmware has been downloaded, you will need to burn the file unto a CD-R
6. After successfully creating the Firmware disc, place the disc inside the unit to begin the update process
7. The unit will indicate when the update process is finished
8. There is also further detailed instructions on the 'Download instructions' link which is found beside the 'Download' link.

Dvd drive stopped working . Can replace it?.

The part is running about $500 at Encompass Parts. It looks like it is too expensive to replace.

Panasonic DMR-EX85 fault code U99

This is the solution from the on line owners manual for you product at www. U99 ≥The unit fails to operate properly. Press [POWER í/I] on the main unit to switch the unit to
standby. Now press [POWER í/I] on the main unit again to turn the unit on. I hope this helps you with your problem.

Panasonic dmr-e55 won't work, just says "hold" on display

HOLD or X HOLD? If the latter - which is most likely - then the Child Lock has been activated! Press and hold ENTER and RETURN simultaneously until HOLD disappears!
