Interior Scratch There are 2 small interior scratches on the back wall of our microwave.  Is this bad or is it still ok to use?  I've tried calling the 24/7 customer service number only they aren't 24/7!  UGH!

Microwave Cavity Paint

I would let it dry for a good 24 hours, if you still have a problem with smell use a mixure of water and vinegar in a small container, set for 60 seconds and run microwave when until it steams, it will bond to the interior wall creating a barrier.

Ss25 microwave no power fuse in plug ok, where is internal fuse.

Fuses can be located behind the microwave door or behind a panel either on the interior wall or an exterior panel. Often the fuse will be behind a panel located under the louver vents on top of the microwave

The ceramic fuse has expired in my microwave (Emerson MW8991SB). Will you tell me where the fuse is located?

On my own microwave I have noticed there is a panel on the interior wall with removable screws...I'd suggest UNPLUGGING it first (of course!) then checking out the interior of that.

I have a brand new Bosch microwave model HMV8051U It was installed for 1 day and the interior glass on the door shattered. What would cause this to happen?

It could be door alignment, damaged or chipped when installed, scratched and moisture got in the scratch and turned to steam under pressure or hit with something spinning around in the machine.
Almost anything.
Take it back and get it replaced.

The top plate inside the microwave sparks while cooking. We checked the dish we were cooking with, the papertowel that covered the dish. What could be causing this?

The wave guide could be dirty or damaged. Dirty oven interior can also cause sparking. The wave guide is probably not dirty if it's not on the interior of the oven . Some are behind the interior wall .

Replacing the interior lamp inside the microwave on the top.

Yes, Bobby, it can be done. Before you begin, though, go to Home Depot and look in the tool department. There, ask for a "Husky Pro #66604". It's a 1/4" and 5/16" drive 90 degree ratchet that's about 4 inches long. While you're there, pick up a #2 1/4" drive phillips screwdriver bit. You'll use both of these to do the light. Both for about $12. UNPLUG YOUR MICROWAVE! Stand on a small ladder in front of the Microwave (MW), remove the 2 screws that hold the vent louver in place and remove the louver. You'll now see a black plastic grill (just above the door handle)remove the 2 screws with your new tools and remove the grill and the metal box that covers the relay. Now remove the 2 screws holding the horizontal metal panel that the box was sitting on. Now gently lift that panel up, (don't try to remove it) and you'll see the lamp. It's the one with 2 white wires going to it and a shiny metal cover over it. Place your index finger on the back of the cover of the lamp and gently pull toward you and lift at the same time. This will release the catch and allow you to pull it all the way out to get to the lamp. There ya go! Simple!
