How do I use vivitar 5022? No manual came with it.

The slide switch is the macro/normal switch. The flower position is for macro (taking pictures of things close to the camera). The mountain position is for normal pictures.

use wb40 solution on the power buttton & try then.

Maybe you inserted the baterry at the erong side or upside down.

Check your owner's manual....2GB may be too large.

try to use other or stronger batteries (higher Amh value). If this does not help, check the manual for a service hotline.

Finally got thru to Vivitar's tech support - they will send a new camera (apparently the sd card reader was defective) & new install disc.

The 5024 manual is at
