Had The Same Problem with my HP dc7700 try downloading the drivers from download.com or other drivers sites or otherwise you might want to get the original disk from the supplier if not maybe get a audio PCi Card (very cheap) and install that

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers if you dont have a motherboard disc you will have to download the drivers

The Lenovo 3000 Y410 uses the Realtek High Definition Audio

The latest version can be downloaded from the realtek website

Download and install the latest windows 7 drivers

Update the sound driver installation.


You can Upgrade your Sound Drivers using the http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&keyword=%22D945GCCR+%22 and you have to first

Select the "Products" as "Desktop Board" and then
Select the Operating System
after selecting the Operating System you need to
Select the "Download Type" as Drivers and then you can a list of Drivers Download the page

and then install the Installs the "Realtek audio driver version 6106 for Intel® Desktop Boards."
which is the latest version of the Sound Drivers

by installing it you can Update your Sound Drivers var geo_Partner = 'b69ab350-7a61-4de5-81d1-0071741224a9'; var geo_isCG = true;

No audio devices installed


Did you try another available IO/SLOT on the motherboard? If so, go to the realtek website and download latest driver for that model number. Install audio card then update the driver using the new version. I hope this helps.

XW4300 Sound Card problem, only working in Windows MP


Most online audio makes use of Adobe Flash, did you check that?
Best is to download and install the latest version of Flash to make sure.

Installing the latest version of DirectX for Windows XP can also help (9.0c).

Please also check for further suggestions about fixing sound problems in Windows XP.

Audio files for vista


Hi
it is a problem with sound Drivers.
You need to download / install the sound drivers which are comfortable with your motherboard configuration in Vista
Also please note most of the motherboards supports Realtek Sound drivers

You can download the latest version for vista drivers directly from Realtek website

Hey its is problem with drivers
Please follow the steps to resolve :-
1)Download the UAA drivers first from microsofts site
2) Download the Latest drivers from
http://www.realtek.com.tw/
PCI drivers + Latest Audio drivers
3) windows installed 3.0 / 3.1

4) now go into Add / Remove programs and uninstall the previous version on Realtek drivers also remove windows installer if available

5) now restart your systems

6) Now installe the windows installer first -> restart

7) now install the UAA drivers -> Restart

8) now install the Realteks latest version -> restart

If it does not solve your problems please do reply i have other trick too..::.. :-)

Its a problem with Sound Drivers in Vista

You need to Download and install the latest version of Sound drivers which are comfortable with your motherbaord.
Generally most of the motherboards are using Realtek sound drivers
So you can log in to Realtek website for latest version of drivers
