Re: monitor saying no signal

You need to return to where you bought this because it is still under warranty, you can not open this because the warranty will be cancelled once the stickers will be damaged

Monitor states No signal. this is a new computer, just today

Make sure you are connecting the monitor signal lead to the correct signal output on the rear of the machine. Some desktops have extra video out connectors when they have a graphics card fitted. If yours has a graphics card the display connector will be away from the back USB ,audio and keyboard ports and near to some silver pop out panels near the bottom of the tower.

Acer ASpire M1100 shows No Signal on monitor

Any time a monitor says "no signal" that message is originating from the monitor itself, and not from the computer. A monitor in a room by itself with no computer will say "no signal" for a brief time, if it is turned on. So, if you have tried other monitors also with no luck, then the problem is either the video adapter of the computer, or something that is keeping the computer from booting in the first place (power supply, hard drive, memory, motherboard). A power supply can be tested with an inexpensive tool. Everything else needs either a swap out with a known good stand-in, or else an expensive tool to know if it works.Does the fan come on when you turn the computer on? If so, maybe more likely to be the motherboard, hard disk, or memory. If not, more likely to be the power supply.

I start up my pc and get no signal to the monitor i have bought new leads for monitor cleaned out the pc.but i can only get a signal to the upper port on the tower please help i av bought a new graphics...

You will have to go into BiOS and change the graphics settings from on board graphics to PCI, AGP, or Pci-e depending on what kind of graphics card you have. It will be one of the 3 listed, if your computer is relatively new it's more than likely PCI-e, If it's fairly old it could be one of the other 2.

Connected new computer to acer monitor and it says no signal all cables are plugged in. Tried a second monitor as well

The video-adapter on the new computer may be defective,
since it does not output anything to either monitor.

Take the computer back to where you bought it,
and get them to connect one of their monitors to it,
to prove that it works, or to replace it, or to fix it.

Microsoft .Net framework 2.0 (86) not found

This is probably a fairly easy fix.
Try the following.

You will need:
1.) another computer with internet access
2.) A USB flash drive with about 1 GB of free space

Go to this website:
on the left-hand side click on drivers and downloads
Select desktop from the options displayed
then it will ask you for your series, usually aspire, but NOT always, check your model number, it will start with something like AS or EX or a V for veriton.
Then select your model number from the list displayed.
You will then see the drivers displayed below.
Download and save the ones you need, Lan driver, the video driver, etc.
Then, for the monitor, select monitor from the list, then at the bottom select the X series, then the X193W model and the driver is displayed.
Download this and put it on the computer that the monitor is connected to, should resolve the issue.

CPU bleeping constantly.

Yes that means the computer has failed POST. So yes, something has come loose or has got damaged.

"POST" is an acronym for Power On Self-Test. The POST process checks the basic system functions before attempting to load an operating system. It checks RAM, processor, drives, system interface, etc. If POST fails, the system will normally halt and may produce a series of beeps from the computer speaker which can help indicate the cause of the problem.
