How do I know when to buy a bigger seat or which positions?

His legs bending does not mean that he is too big for the seat. He is too big for the seat when his head reaches one inch from the top of the chair while sitting in it.

I can't adjust the straps

Hi Selina - Instructions are in your user manual on how to adjust the harness height. When the harness is correctly adjusted for your daughter the harness pads should sit comfortably. If you need to download a replacement user manual select the carseat you have then click "Service" at

I took the straps off and can not put them back, can you help?

The Long strap goes under the seat and comes up thru 2 holes (each end goes up thru each side). The holes are on each side of where the child sits. They come up and weave into the latches that snap into the **** clasp. Upward toward where the child's head would be they go thru the chest clasp. Look at the writing on the clasp to make sure it is on right (letters read the name Cosco and arent upside down) and the belts should be behing the clasp (in at the bottom of the clasp and out at the top). Up thru the holes on the back of the chair at the height appropriate for the childs body. Out the back and down to the claw that is on a strap under the front that you can pull to tighten or press to release slack as the child gets bigger. There should be 1 or 2 (usually 2) slots for the ends of the straps to be slid on to. Sit the child in the car seat and adjust the belt system so that a finger can be slid between the belts and the child's shoulders. This should do the trick. Good luck and be safe.

When installing the forward facing booster seat do you not hook in any of latches to the seat? We have model #22-757-MRC. My children are over 40 inches so I am swithching them to the booster seat. My...

your child's weight and the lap & shoulder belt hold the seat in place.  Run the lap part across your child's lap and the shoulder part should cross your child's chest and not cross his/her neck.  There should be some slots on the side near the top to allow some adjustment of the shoulder strap.

My rear facing infant car seat tips over. My car is a 2000 Toyota Camry without the lower latch in the seat. The seat belt gives a little but locks in an emergency. The baby is not yet 20 lbs.

if it is an infant seat with a base, and can be used without the base, I suggest using it that way. We had the same problem with our daughter's car seat. sometimes those bases just aren't stable enough. Sits much more secure if you can use it without them.

My clock wont find the time.

I had to press receive on the back of mine until the satellite icon appeared on the top right. It's keeping time correctly now.'s the wrong time zone. We tossed the manual the other day so I'm stuck in Pacific Time instead of Eastern. Hope the top part of this helps. Tom Cassidy
