I have a RCA Digital Voice Recorder (DVR) RP5022B with the same problem. And, also, have a bug.

The voice recorder manager software, can't read a long track and send this message:
Warning Decoding: Framesize is negative value.

but, the Digital Voice Recorder can play it! ¿why can de DVR play de track, and the software can not?

In play mode, i noticed that the audio track drop in a loop in the 47 minute, and replay the last 2 minutes of audio, again, and again ¿why?

    thanks for your help.

My RCA RP5120-A recorded 15 hrs of digital voice. My Win Vista PC cannot play the VOC files, but they downloaded -- at least I see the files in the A B C D folders which the manager downloaded. Now how in the heck do I play them?

How to play *.s16, *.s24, *.s48 files download from RCA RP5017A

For Windows, you can download "Data Conversion Tool for PA-VR Series" from an Italian website. It's a drop and drag feature than turns the .48s into .wav. I am looking for a solution that works on MAC. http://esupport.sharp-cee.com/html/software/DataOutputDetail.php?TemplateLang=it&ID=96 Click on 'Scarcia' to download it.

Saving a Voice File to a CD

I just made a .way copy and saved that to my desktop. Then I burned it on a CD. That format plays on Windows Media player. The .voc file and .exe file would not play on Windows Media.

The model which I have has a built-in file that downloads to your PC that installs a program for converting your .voc files into either WAV or EXE. The program can be copied and shared as there is no registration, however it would appear designed to work specifically with this particular device.
