Remove the old belt making note of the pullys that it goes around. The belt should have a make and model number on it. You can order a replacement online or go to your local hardware or Sears store. After receiving the belt and are ready to install, note that one pully will have a bolt or screw that you can untighten so that the pully will move back and forth so the belt will fit on. Pull the pully tight against the new belt and tighten the bolt or screw. This should work.

How to fit belt on Creda Reversair 37643 Tumble dryer

New belt is very tight, so you have to use more strength. Put it on motor and all other on "drum". Spin it easily and slowly but with strength until its done.

Be carefully, use gloves.

Need to know the configuration for installing a new belt on a Whirlpool AWA9708 7kg dryer

your model number doesn't show up but all whirlpool belts go on the same way,put the belt under the idler pulley and then onto the motor pulley, you have to push the pulley back towards the motor and then loop the belt onto the motor pulley and you want the ribs to be down touching the drum
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFnXwmUb4f4

hope this helps and next time send the full model number off of the machine, just open the door to the dryer and look around the opening where you put the clothes in you'll see a tag with the full model number

I need to fit a new belt to a Creda Tumble Dryer

There should be some kind of tensioner around the motor or one of the pully's. The other problem could be that the belt you bought is the wrong one for your model. If you still have the old belt, measure the new belt against the old one and the new belt should be slightly smaller. I hope this info helps.

Creda tumble dryer repair

with great difficulty - these belts are so tight!there is a special tool for doing it but there are other ways
one way i have used is to make a spanish windlass from belt to bottom of machine. when belt is level with motor spindle, push belt on and release spanish windlass. could also try levering belt on with a screwdriver
another method is to get a short piece of tubing that will fit over motor spindle. put belt over tube, lever down and slip belt on. this is the best way
