I have a kodak Z612 can you replace the LCD screen??

Hello, I don't have the manual for your Z612 in front of me at the moment but does this model not have a small button marked EVP/LCD
near the LCD screen ? If you press the button it should switch from the LCD screen to the viewfinder.

Unfortunately, there are no repair manuals for Kodak Z612 and/or Z712 digital cameras .If you want to fix / replace the LCD screen here's a helpful Video Tutorial on how to replace the screen.

Probably not, your best bet would be to contact Kodak and have them fix it or replace the camera. You can contact Kodak at 1-800-235-6325 from 9AM to Midnight EST.

If problem contiinues it is a repair.
If OoW. 88.04 pounds or alt. Trade up.

Sell on eBay and then buy new camera

remove all straps and battery. remove the 6.1 side plate there are 2 screws under plate 3 on bottom 1 in usb 1 above lcd . remove usb housing . gently pull up on bottom by dock adapter to clear plug then cover should pull off . then remove lcd gently remove clasp that hold lcd ribon . under lcd there is three screws pop flash up slide housing off . battery door must be open to remove rear housing.

I have the same problem with my Z612 and seemed to have found a solution that works for me. I discovered that if I turn the dial to the Favorites mode then back to Auto mode it resets the shutter/CCD and begins to work again. Obviously your mileage will vary but I hope this solution works for you as well.
