There are a few of things that that might be.
1. It has to be reprogrammed. Push and hold through all the grinding, clicking, and when the pump starts, keep it held down and when it gets to the volume you want, then release. You can do it to all the coffee buttons.
2. You might have a blockage ion the brew head.
3. Your grind might be too fine. Adjust to a coarser setting(larger #)

I ground a coffee cup's worth of beans. And then I changed my mind. So I quickly, pressed the power button and started over. I pressed espresso button and it ground beans again! now it is jammed. Is it...

When you turn it back on you should hear the brew unit go threw the motions. Check to see if the user ground coffee is in the dredge drawer and also see if can remove the brew group

10 cups of water only makes 6 cups of coffee

This seems a lot of "lost" water. I do not know thyr GE unit, as I have a Saeco. However bear in mind that some water remains behind in the ground beans. Also is the cup size the same for what you put in vs what comes out? Perhaps your drinking cups are bigger than those you load with?

Coffee maker is making very mild coffee. Looks more like tea. ANything that can be done?

You may need to add more grounds. We use 1/2 cup coffee grounds for our 10-cup machine, and it comes out perfect every time. If you prefer to grind your own beans, use 1/2 cup of beans, then grind.

My gaggia platinum is showing an out of service error code [1] and i don't know what to do. Called the service centre all i get is "leave a message".

On my machine remove water tank, remove crip / coffee bin, remove mach and wash. Tip machine on its side (turned off) using a small screw driver go around the coffee grinder and clear it completly, you will need a touch. Re assemble. First run with no beans and wait for the fill bean message, fill with beans off you go. Its only happend twice both with cheap beans

When pushing button for a cup of coffee to be made - the beans are grinding and dumping in the box - however no water is coming thru to empty into my cup - the water is being dumped into the reservoir...

Hi
Dry grounds dumped.
There is a lever at the top of the door on the right side. Yours is actually inside the door on the machine. Pull the lever back 1 notch from the plus(+) . You are dumping too much coffee in the brew unit and it can not compress it, so it dumps it, or breaks the drive gears. Never push the lever all the way or it can cause this overcharge. Its fine if the brew group is clean but when you make coffee there is always a residue left and this is what causes the overcharge.

How do you make coffee in cafetiere 6 cups

You grind the beans quite fine

Pull up the knob on the lid till it pulls out of the top and the filter out of the glass container.

Put enough of the the ground coffee for six cups into the glass container , pour on boiling water till it reaches about one inch from the top

Put the top back on a push the knob slightly down to locate it in the top of the glass container

Give the water a few minutes to work on the beans and then gently push the knob all the way down so that the filter goes to the bottom og the glass container taking the grounds with it

Pour the coffee

Enjoy!!
