So far neither Orange nor Samsung have been able to help with this problem.
I have a new Samsung G600 phone and am running Windows XP. My system will safely instal the software and gets as far as 'connect phone to computer' - and then it fails to recognise that the phone is connected.
I have tried downloading drivers from Samsung website, have turned off the firewall and anti-virus, changed USB ports - it still turns out the same! Samsun seem uncertain whether the software is yet foolproof - if they don't know, I'm darned sure I don't!
Can anybody help me out there .............. please??
I had the same probem.
Turn the phone off and then connect it to your usb. I did this and it installed the usb drivers straight away and then everything was good to go.
