Nintendo 64 The light comes on the console but on the TV it says 'no signal'. When I put any of the games in they don't work on it. What am I doing wrong.
This usually indicates that you have the video cables connected incorrectly. The T.V. is just telling you that it's not getting any video signal from the console.
Check your connections, and if all looks well, perhaps the consoles video outputs or cable is shot.

Have you tried a new expansionpack yet. I tried putting in a new expansionpack for my 14 yearold N64 console and it worked again after that, It might just be that then.
Well if it freezes and the screen turns black and than the tv screen says no signal and the light is on i had a problem like that with my 14 year old N64 console so it looked like it was dead and died but it was the expansion pack that did this it makes it look like it died but it didnt.
clean it, blow into the game console try to blow out some of that dust. also try to clean the 64 cartridge with a lil bit of rubbing alchol and a q tip. when you put the game back in be real easy with it. dont set it in there and smack it down. keep trying until you get a good connection between the 64 and the game cartridge.
Check if there is dust in the game itself or the consol.Other than that it could be that you wires(I know you checked)that are hooked up to your tv may somehow be losing a signal.Or the wires in the machine(you werent specific which ones you checked) may have become frayed.Or it could just be over used and could need new prosesing software.
