OK, I know this set very well--if convergence in the customer menu is skewed and red or blue will not adjust in some direction, you have a convergence problem.

I can give you (post here) START TO FINISH STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS REPAIR IN THIS MODEL.

It requires that you are able to solder etc---not real hard even if you have never done it before.

Considering you can buy the parts on Ebay for about 20 dollars if you can do it yourself or know someone who can do it for you--you can save the set and a lot of money......most shops get 300 or more for this kind of trouble.

I can tell you the best place to get the chips--this set uses two STK-392-110 CHIPS.

Usually just both chips need to be replaced and the set adjusted.

The instructions tell you everything you will need and how to do the fix.

I composed them from my own experience and because many people here ask the same thing you did.
