Problem with Projection Televisions

information on seeting convergence for 50hx81 tv

the green color is out of place and have problem with the convergence for toshiba 50hx81 tv

In the customer menu select convergence with the Toshiba remote.

If it is skewed and or will not adjust you have a convergence circuit problem. If this is the case let me know and I will tell you what is involved to repair the set.

I have fixed hundreds of sets with this kind of trouble.

    • I have a new problem with my Blue Screen/Drive that suddenly went out of convergence. Wish I could show you a picture.
      The Blue Grid is bowed everywhere except the center (+) lines.
      I can NOT turn off the Blue grid with the remote, in the Service menu, as I can with the Green and Red. Is seems I can't adjust the Blue grid at all.
      Auto Focus errors.

      Also within the few weeks previous to this happening I heard a crackle sound, when TV was turned off, much like a vehicles exhaust would when cooling down.
