The 2 batteries are wired positive to positive and negative to negative or you get 24VDC. Your inverter, starter and instrumentation might not like that. I suspect 2 of the 3 red connections go to voltage regulators to prevent over charging either battery, the third feeds the inverter and should not matter which positive terminal it connects to.The 2 batteries are wired positive to positive and negative to negative or you get 24VDC. i normally mount it under my seat run one lead straight to the positive (red) lead of battery with a 30 amp fuse using an inline fuse holder fully sealed.than the ground (black) using a ring connector to the chassis or seat mounting stud.must run positive under carpet and through fire wall using a grommet or other possible wire channels.
The Bose system does not appear to have HDMI output. The best-quality method would be to use Component (RGB) cables with analog audio. One RCA pair will be for audio and these are often RED & WHITE connectors, but don't have to be. Any RCA pair will work. Connect these to the Bose RED/WHITE jacks found in the "TV" labeling. Connect the other ends to the Toshiba's RED/WHITE jacks on the bottom row, first two jacks.
Now you need a Component cable. This has three RCA connectors at each end and are traditionally RED, GREEN, and BLUE. Again, colors do not matter as long as you connect the ends so they match. Under the "Component" labeling on the Bose, you will find the three colored jacks. Connect these to the Toshiba's same-colored jacks which are next to the RED/WHITE ones you used previously. These three connectors carry the video signals. They will transfer Hi-Def 1080i signals, not 1080p, but you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
You need to find out if the generator is providing any power at all, when its not connected to the RV, get it to power something else. If it does that OK you have to suspect the inverter or some of the wiring in the RV, did any wiring near the inverter get wet?
On the ev6010 Honda generator the posive starter wire is black and was accidently hooked up to the chassis ground wire. Then the start button was pushed and nothing happened. I corrected the wire hookup to the positive side but will not start still
make sure your new inverter is made for 220 volt supply as that is what the red wire represents. its the other leg of a 220 circuit and should not be connected to your new inverter until you read the manual to see if it is designed for this and if so how to wire it in. it could cause you are the unit serious harm if you connect a 110 inverter to a 220 circuit. consult an rv repair shop or a good electrition if you cant find the needed info. it may actually be printed on the side of the inverter as well.
Changing from 3 to 4 wire hookup on a electric dryer: Power cord help for 3 & 4 prong dryer cords This is an example of a three wire connection dryer cord hookup. Notice that there is a ground strap connected from the common center terminal to the frame of the terminal block. Place the center wire of the cord on the center terminal [ one with the ground ******** it ] and the other two wires will be placed on the outer terminals and it doesn't matter which wire goes right or left. Get the center wire of the cord right and you are in business. This is an example of the 4 wire dryer cord hookup. Notice that the ground strap has been removed from the terminal block frame and folded back onto the center terminal for storage. You can see the colors of the other hookups. TIP: White always to the middle.
