Trouble downloading music to my enV

Im trying to connect my phone to my PC to sync and share music from my PC to my phone, but its not reading my cell phone connection. everything is plugged in properly and im running the proper windows and stuff. I downloaded the VCast software for the ports and such, but when i plug in my phone and try to connect it says "Found New Hardware" ' vcast mobile phone' and then it comes up with a found new hardware thing saying something about a MTP device, then i click next and its searching for a MTP thing... then it says there was a problem installing that device. Re: Trouble downloading music to my enV

Best solution for all of your problems is to stop syncing the music. Once the device is plugged into the pc and it is installed open my computer and then open the new drive that you phone is on.

open up my music folder and drag and drop all of your music

Re: Trouble downloading music to my enV

That was the same problem for me. when you download that vcast software dont use there program. use windows media player 9. that has worked best for me. ive tried the latest window media player out and it doesnt seem to work. but if you use 9 you can go to sync with your phone connected. and you always have to make sure that you go to settings and tools on your phone. then go to call settings and then you should see pc connections and when you get to that you should see usb and you click on that and it should say pc connection set. hopefully any of those options i gave you work out.

How do i sync music to my htc freestyle phone to my laptop?

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

Your HTC Freestyle uses the Brew operating System.

As such, the HTC Sync program for Brew will only synchronize Outlook contacts and calendar or Outlook Express contacts between your computer and your phone.

The sync software is pretty basic but does the job. If you want to sync music and media with the device then this won't do that for you. Instead you'll have to sync media to the storage card.

The Freestyle comes with a Music application that gives you the ability to play music that's on your microSD card. To load music on your microSD card: Connect your device to your PC via the supplied microUSB cable. Select Disk Drive from the popup menu. Once your device is connected, it will be listed as Removable Disk Drive under My Computer (Click Start > My Computer) and open it. From there, you can simply drag and drop the music files onto your device's microSD card.

If you wish to download the HTC Sync program, click on the link (below). At the HTC support page, READ the instructions, then scroll to the bottom of the page - click on the little blue arrow (under Download) - and select HTC Sync for Brew.

I bought an LG envy3 and downloaded LG outlook sync. The program works okay- but the computer doesn't recognize that the phone is connected via its USB. The music sync function works, the computer...

Music player must be closed and not running in the background when you attempt to sync. Basically you have 2 programs on your computer trying access the phone at the same time. Get the Full User Guide from LG, and set it to "prompt for Mass Storage mode," instead of "Always allow," - and when the media player comes-up on the computer, Deny or say NO, which will let you synchronize.

Music syncage

1st - Place the SD card in the phone. 2nd - Adjust the setting to save Pictures, Video, Music to the SD card by going to Settings and tools > Memory > Save Options. 3rd. Remove the SD card from the phone and connect to PC. Now on the PC you will see the phone has created folders for you "Music". 4th - Drag your music files into the correct folders (ie music, pictures, etc). 5th Place SD card back in LG Envy 2 and enjoy the music.

How to download video to the LG enV VX9900 using my PC ?

Well Sir,

You Cannot Active Sync Videos And Pictures To The Lg enV (vx9900), To The Best Of My Knowledge. The Reason Is That The Folder That Active Sync Puts The Files In Is The Wrong File, What You Are Gonna Need To Do Is Get A Micro SD Card And Download A Free Video Editing Program Called "Super," Just Google It And You Should Find Something, The Next Part Is To Install And Open The Super Program At This Forum ( You Should Find Some Good Settings For Video's, Its What I Use, After The Setting Are All Finalized Click The Encode Button, After The Video Is Encoded The File Should Be Saved In C:/program files/eRightsoft/Super/Output/(File name). I Recommend Having A sd Card Writer, Thats The Only Way I Know To Do It, Then Copy The File In The Output Folder And Paste It To The Folder Named my_flix In Whatever Drive The SD Card Is. You Should Have A Video With Some Pretty Good Picture Qualities, Hope I Helped XD

LG vx9900 cdma sofware drivers form pc to cell phone connected.

You may also need the verizon music sync package for that phone, it comes with a cable to connect it to the P.C. The CD will have a program that syncs music. Just install it because the drivers are built into the software and you have to have it installed in order to use the drivers. Once this is installed, download BITPIM ( google it, its free ) or find some other converter program that can convert to 3gpp files for you, then you can creat and add music, ringtones and pictures and convert video file onto the phone for free.

Remember to have the verizon software installed or the PC wont be able to detect your phone.

Good luck
