Brand new Denon DP 300F turns extremely slowly.

The turntable should be under warranty still so contact the makers and they should sort it out. Any tampering with it could void any warranty so don't let any unathoriesed person touch it.

Detrola record player wont spin, even after moving arm to far right.

I suggest you lift up the turntable matt and see if you can see a belt, which has either broke or come off. You might need a new belt!

It's doesnt scratch?

It doesnt scratch well you have to set your turntable up for scratching meaning adding more weight on the needle taping a penny to it the weight of the tone arm take it off and put it on backwards i also suggest wax paper and trace around you slipmat put the wax paper outline down then then slip mat . but you main problem is theres not enough weight keeping the needle on the record. or you scratching is completely wrong. i sugguest taking the weight on the tone arm and flip it around and ull have plenty of weight also , youtube man thousands of videos on how to scratch properly. best of luck if u are still stuck feel free to email me im guessing your new to djing

Turntable turns on, but it when i press play the plate doesnt spin. i noticed it budges like a mm but definetly not working

Turntable Drive Belt

The chances are the rubber drive belt has either broken or stretched so that it has fallen off the drive pulleys.

You will need to gain access to the underside of the turntable to replace it.

With most turntables the process will be to secure the tone arm (a rubber band will do the trick) before turning the whole thing upside down and unscrewing the base.

Replacement drive belts are easily available on the internet. Search by make and model number of your turntable

Rotel rp1000 turntable rplaying too slow, new belt

Check that your new belt is not too tight as this will slow the motor down as it tries to turn the platter. I would also suggest a little light oil (sewing machine oil is ideal - NOT WD40) on the motor spindle shaft where it goes through the motor itself it may be a little dry.

Clean off any gunk from the rim where the belt turns the platter and do the same on the pulley on the motor. Get some de-oxit (expensive but good) or SERVISOL to clean the speed change switch too.

One of of my technic 1210's keeps picking up dust and the sound quality is poor regardless of the needle. It has ruined 2 needles now and and im not sure the problem is. The weights are not too heavy so it...

Are u sure it's not the needle? What brand needles are you using and I usually recommend people have small fans by turntables to have airflow so dust doesnt become a problem, expecially for DJ's

Turntable will not turn

This is a fully manual turntable, meaning, the tonearm will not engage a switch that powers up the unit. You have to turn it on. The power switch is towards the rear of the unit, on the top, right at the rear of the tonearm. You'll see a button. Press that button, and your unit should power up.

If it does not power up, then you have a faulty unit. If you bought this new, I would suggest returning it. If it is not new, then either you have a bad fuse, or burned out transformer. The fuse you can replace yourself, but the transformer requires a technician.

Hope this helps.
